Hofner Committee  thin 1959 

This is a 1959 committee thin with original case.

This guitar does not have the clear scratch plate .

It also has some extra switches...see photos...they have not been wired up, probably fitted with the intention of a modification to the wiring but never got round to wiring them up!

We obtained the guitar like this and have left the switches in. They can be removed very easily and the holes filled but must admit they look pretty good! Anyway we are selling it with them in place. We can remove them if preferred on purchase.

All original controls and the original switching panel work properly, volume and tones work as they should , as do the pickups .

Everything else on the guitar , the tuners the frets are original , neck etc are excellent.

This guitar is 60 years old and is in superb condition for its age, even if just a show or conversation piece in your living room.

That said it does play well, and is a superb addition to any guitar collection.
